Default Brown tips on Phcal (Phaiocalanthe) & Ground Orchids

My Phcal (Phaiocalanthe Ursula Kryptonite Burgundy AM AOS), and my ground orchid in a pot, have developed brown tips on each leaf. This morning I used a clean razor blade to cut the tips of my Phcal (see pictures). What could be the cause? Should I now coat the edges where cut with cinnamon or some other fungicide? I've never had this problem with these soft leaf orchids. Thanks, McLyle

How often do you fertilize and how much fertilizer to water are you using?

I think this looks very much like a fertilizer excess or imbalance problem. I have had no problem with the Phaiocalanthes, but definitely with some Phaius and Spathoglottis plants.

Nice big plant ! I agree looks like from Fert. I would flush the pot well to remove any build up .
