Default SNOW MOLD

From what I read on the U of Fl website, excessive moisture is the cause of snow mold. I have watered my orchids very little this winter, an occasional misting is all. When I recently removed some pots from the greenhouse, I noticed some had what appears to be snow mold. I would appreciate any suggestions of thoughts regarding snow mold.

To my best recollection, snow mold is restricted to northern latitudes. I think you just have white fungus I get in my terrarium. I treat the "sticks" plants are growing on to a shower of physan 20 every once in a while which seems to controll it quite well. Before you get too exicited, I would try a couple squirts of Physan 20 and see if it goes away.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
