I know people who use it. It kills mites. It's very expensive.

The mites always come back because they are everywhere.

That's why I use alcohol or detergent water spray on a regular basis.

I use Avid (Abamectin based) twice a year (early summer) at a 10-day interval (8 drops/l). After a generalized infestation with spider mites and taking into account my conditions, I bought a 8fl (236.5ml) bottle, the smallest one I found. It is good; plants do not feel anything. Before using it, I read more information found on various sites. You do not have to drink it and you have to wear latex gloves, everything is okay, it's also used for intestinal worms.

I used Dafenil which came from Portugal via eBay. It is a small bottle but very concentrated - worked well and therefore good value for money.

I bought a spray bottle "Compo Fazilo" and will see how it works.
From what I've read mites develop immunity to abamectin very fast.
As I suspect I have mites in several plants, I will use this as the first attack and then, as temps drop, start using the old water and spray method.

Immunity is only installed if you do not kill all spider mites. Taking into account that the price is quite high, the probability of getting the future with spider mites whose body has acquired immunity is very low. The recipe used is not nailed, the world is constantly changing.

Bees may become addicted to nicotine-like pesticides in the same way humans get hooked on cigarettes.
