there are many, unknown relationships between plant roots and mycorrhizal fungi. If the plant looks otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for all your input! It does seem ok otherwise. So interesting to see fuzzy roots. I'll keep an eye on it and report back if it starts to look any different.
