Pseudobulbs on unidentified orchid
Hi.
My orchid is classified on its tag as a "cambria", but i'm still trying to find out the exact type as i realise this is probably wrong.
It's flowering at the moment, two stems on seperate pseudobulbs (is that what they are called?),
It has three pseudobulbs, but one without any flower stems seems it be turning brownish. It has had two flower stems on it previously, but now just has leaves, and one of them is turning brown at the end. Is this pseudobulb dying and becomeing a blackbulb? Is that the correct term? I'm worried becasue i really don't want it to die, so if someone can say this is fine and natural i'll be very happy.
Also, does anyone know the rates of mutation? My gorgeous orchid has two stems with lovely white flowers on, but one flower on the smallest stem has two lips along with the five petals! Will this continue?
