Thats what I was thinking. If your plants are pretty well established on their mounts, theres a good chance they dont need the spag anymore. If your worried about retaining moisture around the roots, you could try draping some spanish moss around your plant. Its fairly loose so it shouldnt mold, its alive so it wont rot and it looks more natural than epiweb. It should creat a bit of a "microclimate" around the roots, if that is what you want. I hope this helps!

I hear people say dunk plants all the time and can only say it is a bad practice. You spread bugs, funguses, bacteria and worst of all Viruses many of which cannot be cured. It is best to not even get water from one plant onto another if at all possible. (often impossible)
