Fusarium wilt in vandas

Reading some of the other threads on this forum about Fusarium and searching w.w.w. my world just collapsed and i cant stop crying at the moment.
Some of my largest vandas has not been growing like usual and i did think it might be because we have a heatwave here and maybe i did not manage to water them enough in this heat.
Looking closer at the leaves and the roots i just realized that something was very wrong.
I have about 250 large vandas and i think all of them is infected. Some of my smaller sized vandas seem to also be infected so i think this is my last day as a vanda grower.

so did these plants grow where their roots could come into contact with the ground?

oh how horrible! whack them back and try to get some clean cuts, maybe you can save the tops of the plants....cut till you see clean flesh, treat with a good rooting hormone which has a fungicide in it...wrap the stub with damp sphagnum moss about 4 inches up the stem, and pray....you might save some of them...keep up a routine of spraying with fungicide and bactericide....good luck!

I used to grow most of my vandas in a greenhouse with a concrete floor and not one of them touched the floor/ground.
I have cleaned out nearly all my plants from the greenhouse and have about 50 vandas left. Some of them has been cut back to clean "flesh" and a few plants seems to be ok, for now. Most of the ones i have left uncut have healthy and good rotsystems.
I also got rid of a few Phalaenopsis, most of my Aerangis and Angraecum, because over the years i have imported and recived some orchids in really poor condition and every orchid with "spots" or some kind of blemishes on their leafes has also been thrown out in case there where something contagious on any of them.
The greenhouse is disinfected and spotless now, but i had over 40 catasetinas there also, and am a bit worried if Fusarium also has destroyed them.

Can you purchase the fungicide called thiomyl, also known as Cleary 3336 or thiophanate-methyl? It is said to be helpfull in treating for fusarium.

Cleary 3336 is not available here nor is any other fungicide that would be legal for me to use. Reading the specimen label for Cleary i can understand why there is a prohibition against the sale and use of stuff like this.
So when there is nothing for me to treat my plants with, i think i have to get rid of all the plants that was in my greenhouse.
Have to have a think about what i am going to do........
