nope same pot as in the pictures the only thing that has changed is watering it to what i was told to do here

It's hard to tell if the roots looked ok in your photo. If the plant was severely underwatered for a fair amount of time, the roots may have been dead - tho I can't say definitely.

If your plant has been declining for a while, it may be too late to save it now. Repotting -fresh media, check roots, cut away dead ones (Paph roots are brown, but good ones should be firm) might be something to try.
