From what I've read, venus fly traps need a winter dormancy, so your outdoor greenhouse might be just the ticket!

In the UK have you tried:
Summit 110-12 Mosquito Dunks 6-Pack

also:

Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer Steinernema Feltiae which is a nematode that also gets fungus gnats IIRC? (indeed it does)
See also Nemasys Grow Your Own

Interesting, last time I looked (last year) everything seemed to indicate that BTI was only licensed for commercial use and not for general public in the UK. Might be worth a try.

I've actually used Nemasys products before. I used their Leatherjacket one to drastically reduce the population of craneflys (the adults of Leatherjackets) in my garden after the garden had gone mad with them one year.

To Discus...It seems you have some experience with sundews. Earlier today I posted on this forum my concern with them. I haven't even had the 2 I just bought delivered to me yet, but I'm hoping to get some feedback on my questions. I know I've read that the sundew's need full sun, but all my phals and oncidiums, as well as my masdies are all doing really super under the natural light LED track lighting I have set up. I'd love to be sucessful with sundews.
