Question black spots on Dendrobium Speciousum

these spots are on a few leaves on my Dendro
is it fungus?

is this pic enough to diagnose?

Joann, the spots are dry pits... mostly on the underside...

They're probably fungus pits. When I have a plant that has been wet I get them. I just treat with Gentian Violet, it turns the leaf purple but the fungus doesn't spread. Hopefully others will give their opinions.
