Is there a chance?

Hello,

While repotting my phal I noticed that its roots were all rot and that rot has gotten inside, I had to cut everything including lower part of the stem, I' so sorry for this plant, I don't know if there is a chance it will live, I also had to cut two leaves because rot was inside.

I put it in sphag. I don't know if it will survive, what do you think?
