Ants are taking over
Default Ants are taking over

Every winter/spring I have my yearly battle with the ants and this year it seems to be out of control. I know they are harmful and are also great farmers and I never really had them in the phal area of the greenhouse but more or less just in the area where I keep the catts but this spring it seems like they have moved in everywhere. I have used baits with some sucess but they no longer seem to work and when I find them in the orchid pots I will flush the pot with water mixed with orange dish soap and it kills them dead on the spot but I am looking for a better way to control them. In Oklahoma one will never get rid of all of them.... Does anybody have any tips that they might like to share ?
