Dendrobium, Cattleya and Phalaenopsis are all showing signs of disease Female
Default Does this look like a bacterial infection?

These orchids are about 15 years old and have grown beautifully in the past. Now the Cattleya and Phalaenopsis look like they have a bacterial infection and have been treated with copper fungicide. Do you have a different opinion? I am especially concerned about the Cattleya.

The Dendrobium canes just look strange. What do you think is going on? I appreciate your insights.

Have a look at the diseases section of the St Augustine Orchid Society Web page. Your plants might have anthracnose disease. Has it been especially warm and humid?

Default Hot and Dry

Thank you for your reply. The orchids are grown indoors, as the outdoor temperature exceeds 100°F in an arid desert climate. Thank you, I'll look into St. Augustine's page.
