Default Vanda yellow/brown plump roots when wet

Hello!
When I received my vanda, it came with some root mechanical damage (cracks, and breakage to the velamen) .
Over time, I noticed when watering it that many of the roots with cracks either become yellow/brown or directly a brown mushy color(if dry they look normal silver).
Should this worry me? Is this a normal behavior of mechanical damaged roots and acclimatization stress?
Or the yellow/brown is a sign of fungus?
I decided to cut some off, in the photo the brown part is where the crack was upper on the root
Thank you!!🙏🏼

You can't tell which roots are dead, so I recommend never cutting roots. I would give standard Vanda care and hope for growth. That is daily watering, warm temperatures, high light and frequent fertilizing.
