Black and purple spots on rescue cattleyas
Question Black and purple spots on rescue cattleyas

I recently received a collection of orchids from a friend. I'm concerned about the health of 2 of the cattleyas and don't want the issue to spread. I will upload some pictures.
They each have black spots, especially the one in the first 2 pictures. It also has purple streaking on the newest leaf.
The 2nd orchid just has black spots on the pseudobulbs but not on the leaves. Both plants are fairly yellow even though they were grown under 50% shade cloth in Nebraska.
I've grown dendrobiums before but not cattleyas so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

So, the purple streaking is just a normal cattleya feature?
I thought the last two were mite damage but they aren’t present anymore. Thanks for confirming that!

Looks like anthrocyanins from exposure to high light to me. Normal
