Default unknown orchid

Hello, I have one of my orchids that some how lost its name tag and also the orchid is not there for some reason. It has great roots, is there any way to safe this one, do I just leave it and see if anything starts to grow. The picture is the orchid out of its pot and on its side to show some of the root growth

Looks like a Phalaenopsis that has lost its leaves - and crown or growth point, probably to rot of some sort. It is possible that it can produce a new growth from those roots. Doesn't cost anything to keep it around and see if anything develops. I would consider the odds pretty low but if you have the space, no harm watching to see if it "decides" to survive.
