Tolumnia hybrid virus?
Default Tolumnia hybrid virus?

Hi all, this is my first and only orchid and I'm wondering if I bought it infected with a virus. It had these spots on its leaves when I bought it, about 3 weeks ago. Since then I've had tons of root growth and it looks otherwise healthy, but the spots remain. I'm open to testing for viruses but affordable options here are appreciated. Fyi I'm in Canada so some American testing options may not be possible. Thanks!

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

Those spots are normal for Tolumnias. There is no way to determine whether it is infected with virus without testing, and tests available don't test for all viruses.
