Default Oncidium leaves & pseudobulbs turning dark red

My oncidium leaves and pseudobulbs has been progressly turning dark red. The tips of the leaves start turning red and eventually die. 90% of the pseudobulbs are a dark red. It is growing under a LED plant light. The plant has 3 spikes in different phases of blooming. I realize it is overgrown and have planned to repot after blooming is complete. Please see attached pictures, thank you

I think it's getting far more light than it needs. That can cause red pigmentation in orchid plants. Oncidium hybrids are medium light plants, needing less than most Cattleyas, but more than Phalaenopsis.

Instead of reducing time, can you reduce the intensity (like by moving the plants farther from the light)? In general, orchids need good duration of light (remember, in the tropics days and nights are fairly equal all year around) but Oncidiums need more shade than Catts. (Just like you can't make up for 3 moderate meals per day by stuffing down a huge one and then having nothing the rest of the day)

Good idea, I can increase the distance between them. This is the first time I've had 3 spikes on it, so some part of the plant approves of the light it is getting. I was thinking I could make a little 'umbrella' to partially shade it, but raising the light would be easier. Thanks Roberta !
