Is this diseased?
Default Is this diseased?

Hi all! New here and hoping for some help.
I got this phaelenopsis in August 2020 as a gift. The existing leaves were always a bit dodgy (dead ends) but now this white stuff is coming out on the one leaf, a new leaf seems a bit deformed and leaves seem to be splitting down the midline. And I could just be being paranoid, but seeing some brown spots on the leaves of some of my others (oncidium, dendrobium and phaes). Not sure if this is a fungal disease? Didn't look quite like the pics of mealy bugs that I've seen...
Please help!

The one leaf that is bad looks like sun or cold damage.

The other stuff looks pretty normal, like it may have gotten too dry at one point.

I don't think you have anything to worry about with this plant.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

It's not getting enough water. Either you're not watering enough, or there aren't enough healthy roots.

Check out a thread here - go to the left yellow menu, Forums, then Beginners. Near the top look for the sticky thread The Phal abuse stops here.
