Brown Spot on Newly Acquired Wils. Eye Candy
Default Brown Spot on Newly Acquired Wils. Eye Candy

Hi all,

I just bought this seedling bareroot this weekend. In all the excitement, I didn't see this mark on it until I brought it home. Is this something I should worry about? I potted it up and sprayed the leaves and medium with Physan. Should I take more precautions? If it is an infection I don't want to infect others in my collection.

Thanks!

Remove that leaf. Dab a Q-tip in come cinnamon and treat the wound.

Physan is of no use for an internal infection.

I second Ray’s recommendation. This time of year there’s still a good chance that it’s cold damage rather than an infection.

Thank you both. I did what you said and I hope it will be in the clear now. Much appreciated!
