Default Where to get custom printed labels?

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can order custom printed labels? I need to order about 1000 of them. Thanks!

For that amount, maybe it would be worthwhile to buy a label printer? There have been some nice discussions about these in the past, mostly on the Brother label printers. Going to bed, or else I would have looked up some old threads for you.

I wonder if Kinko's (well, guess they are FedEx now) might be able to do something like that?

I just got some from United Label. United Label

Frankly I looked everywhere, and this seemed to be the best option for me... Reasonably local, and it was recommended by another orchid grower. I ordered 9000. The place I used to order labels from couldn't do them anymore, so I was pretty out of luck.

Was I impressed with this place? Satisfactory. They were ok. Price was good. Lots of different kinds of label stock you can use, I'll send you some of mine if you want to see what i picked out. A little slow, but they are used to dealing with people who order 10 to 100x more labels than me, so I probably wasn't exactly at the top of the queue. I really liked my old labels, so my new ones weren't going to live up to that. They are pretty good. Still wish I could get more of the old ones. sigh.

Thanks to all who replied, but this is dissappointing! An 2 hr search google didn't yield much. I can't believe there's no business for custom plant tag labeling anymore! Not interested in termals or laser priting, the labels curl and fade over time.

You could try Loda.com. We have used them for many years. For your purposes, you might consider vinyl labels. They can be custom printed. You also can write on them with pencil or pen & the labels last. They can be used on dot matrix printer, but cannot be used in thermal printers.

Unfortunately, only styrene labels can be used in thermal printers. They disintegrate after several years in bright sunlight, but they are the only choice for thermal printers (as far as I know).

Mine don't fade or curl... They are polystyrene. Supposedly could be used in a special thermal printer, but I just write on them with pencil.
