Anyone for a couple of quarts of won ton soup?
Melting holes could be a way of not tearing into the plastic ..
so long as you are in well ventilated area.
After you eat your soup, get out the soldering iron !

Keep in mind deli containers aren't going to stand up to UV light for very long.

"Clear" is a relative term. Semi-clear? Do we need to get really exact here? The idea is we can see the state of the roots. Jeesh, hasn't anyone ever wondered what the roots looked like?  Sometimes I wonder how folks can tell what's going on in the pots?  With mine I can see if the roots are really green (not time to water), the medium is wet or the pot sides are flecked with water (not time to water), etc. You get the picture. I don't water the Paphs or Phals till the roots tell me to water - and I haven't lost anyone yet

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
