Default Light Measurement

Does anybody have one like this that they can share how to use? I threw out my instructions (they got wet) cause I didn't think I needed...now that I want to measure my different light levels, I have no clue. Does not look all that complicated and I've tried a few ways to get readings and not been successful, unless it is just a piece of junk...in which case any recommendations for a better light meter? Thanks.

Thank you Ray, you're awesome, not sure why I didn't think to check on the computer.

I have one of these and use it regularly. Just make sure that you don't leave it lying in the sun. They last a very long time and are great for measuring light levels in the darker, smaller spaces in a terrarium.
