Default Coqui at night.

Found a coqui out at night. He was in the pot with my small dendromium speciosum. I assume he lives in the humidity of the rocks. I see them, buried in the medium, when repotting plants.

Really cute!

We've been seeing a little toad of some sort near our compost heap (where there are a lot of slugs). We first found it in a glass plant pot I had left out which had filled with rain. We think it might have been stuck in there and gently laid the pot on it's side so it could hop out. We then put a shallow tub of rain water with rocks in it so he could use it and climb out. We weren't sure if he ever came back but hubby saw him in the water the other night and he was gone by morning so we were really pleased we had put that water there and we're going to keep making sure it's refreshed and not going stagnant.

Awesome. He'll probably stay around the same area for the rest of his days. They like to squeeze into really tight spaces

are these the frogs that make all the racket and keep everyone awake ? I can't recall exactly. Are they in Hawaii too ? If you have frogs and toads it means you have a happy environment.
