Question BURRRRRR!! PLZ Help!

& Burrrr!

This is just a simple question, I hope.
Last night, here in Central FL I woke up and it was down to 51! Yikes!

The Yikes is because I didn't cover/do anything different with my chids. Yikes!

Since I have Catts, Dendros, Vanda's, phaphs, Zygo's, Tolumnia's, Phals, and species all outside in my chid hotel,
Who has to come inside?

What is the LOWEST TEMP chids can take, and WHAT CHIDS can't take that Lowest Temp, out of what I have??

Sanday had a similar thread which I'll give you the same answer, as for the vandas 38 degrees is what I have heard they can start hurting. However even 50 with a 20mph wind will burn them. Your hotel, motel, holiday inn should be ok for them all year.

I try to keep them at 48-50 and haven't had any problems...but that's with no wind. The vandas like the cooler temperatures the least, if anything...protect them.
What they got hit with last night should be fine, don't worry.

We woke up to 48 this morning! It's FREEZING!!!
(That was a funny, Ross )

Thanks Swamper and Sue!!

I'm hoping to leave them in their hotel, pull down the blinds, and maybe wrapped over with blankets/tarps etc.
Maybe use heat lamps or space heaters if ever truly needed.
