Default Pics of Pink/Red growing/showing on leafs??

Hey

I have my babes outside in my Shade Hotel I have recently noticed some pink/red showing up on the leafs coming out?? What does this PINK/RED mean on my Catt and Onci babies?

Is Pink/Red 'deadly' or 'Happy'? They look healthy and great! But I've never seen Pink/red come out before?

I just recently moved everyone outside to 'natural' environment, From my greenhouse. So these changes started since then.

Any ideas plz?? Is Pink/Red telling me too much light??

The 'Shade Hotel' Their in, getting ONLY late 5:00 on, afternoon Full sun.

The Greenhouse they came from. Getting 'VERY' filtered sun.

Hello jkelee, I've seen phals leaves turn purple, actually I read somewhere here in the OB that the color of the leaf is related to the color of the blossoms, but that's pretty much what I've got not sure it helps but hopefully it will be happy pink and not deadly pink

I don't know about the first picture though... but I will not commment, since it is not my area of expertise

J, take a look at your sun pattern some of them look like they are peaking on the amount of light. It's hard to say if the sun is overwhelming or to the max before showing signs of sunburn.

The first 2 s look like to much light but the texture and spotting has my attention. This could be to much water causing a fungus noting your growing outdoors and exposed to the weather conditions. Than again could be sunburn as well, just hard to say not knowing the appearance before taking them to the hotel.

Pink/red/purple are good signs. It means that the plant is getting just a little too much sun and therefore the plant is adding pigment to shield itself. In my opinion, I would rather the plant govern its own lighting needs! It also looks nicer IMO. When your plants are turning red, they are getting plenty of sun, will start growing faster and more vigorously and will put out better blooms! Just keep an eye on the plants because sometimes the plant will be in light that is a little too high and will not be able to add pigment and get sunburnt (just like ppl!). Then you will want to move the plants into a shadier spot. I have to say, the first two pics look like they might be at the very tip of the breaking point for sun exposure. The plants in the second and third pics are a bright green with bright red while the first two pics are a yellow green background with light red pigment. I would keep an eye on those ones and probably move the first plant to a slightly shadier position. Again, this is just my opinion.

Thank you ALL for the great info and ideas!! The first two pics are the Onci's, and the last 3 pics are Catts if that helps in your thoughts! The Onci's are getting more direct late afternoon (5:00 on) sun, than the Catt's are. The catt's are located right next to the shade cloth on the (Far right side in the pic). Hiding behind it, totally.
