Pics My newest Members, Need Info on them

Hello

I have recently purchased 4 new chids. And I'd love to know the best Care info on them all. If any of you can help out plz

I'd love to know the LIGHT needed of these babies? Is my 'shade hotel' good enough for them? As most all my other babies are there and smilin' every day!!

And water/Fert on them. How often?
As of now, they get rain when it rains, and my hands to the rest when it doesn't. I try to get them damp every day. I Fert weakly/weekly. Every Sunday morning.

All three of your dendrobiums will do just fine during the summer where you have them. Feed weekly and water when dry. In order to bloom them they need a bright, dry winter rest. No fertilizer please after mid November. Water sparingly which could be just misting every couple of weeks until you see buds or new growth start in the spring then resume regular care.

I am not familiar with the Phal but all Phals need regular care all year. Being mounted, it would probably benefit from misting daily and weekly fertilizing with about 1 tsp. per gal. The same amount of food would also apply to your dens during the growth stage.

Thanks for the info!! I had NO IDEA I even had a Phal!! That is sooo awesome, thanks for telling me that! Now I know maybe how to take care of it! The Orchid Pro that I bought it from, told me it was in the "Ghost orchid" family. And that I know nothing about!

Great new members to your orchid family. I have 2 (Den. Aggregatum & Den. Chrysotoxum) of the 4, which in fact have not bloomed not sure why but the foliage and rooting system look fine. I had heard the Agg does not like to be repotted as often as other, root-bound is preferred. I slow down my watering in late Oct. Nov. depending on the weather conditions here in Fl and fert monthly.

Is the P. Gibbosa a phal or a Pterostylisos. If this is a phal, Jerry is right on with it's culture as for Pterostylisos they like low light, normal watering regimen, weak weekly. Would love a Pterostylisos but with them being a cool natured orchid not sure my envirnment will be able to make it/them happy.

Google Phalaenopsis gibbosa. It is a species with small white flowers that are beautiful. It resembles Doritis champoensis a great deal. When you google, if you click images you will see a plant in bloom that is on a mount and it looks identical to your plant.
