I had a squirrel problem and someone recommended i use blood meal to keep them away and fertilize my lawn at the same time, he said it smellls like predators. The squirrels still walk true but they are always in a hurry, they don't dare stay long enough to eat anything. Also keeps the cats out of my garden, it should also work for all the above mentioned critters.
