Default Growing outdoors

I am planning on placing my orchids outside for the summer. I am planning on placing them on a metal plant stand beside a fence, which will prtect them from the morning sun. The are near a tree that will block most of the sun from midday and into the afternoon.

I just want to make sure that the plants are secure during storms or windy days. What do you do? I was thinking of placing the plastic pots in which they are planted into slightly larger clay pots, which will be attated the the bench by wire. Would that work?

Thanks!

I hope you pants are secure during storms and windy days!
It might cause you some embarassment.
What do you do? Well, a belt or suspenders may help

(Sorry, Morse Code Man - I couldn't help commenting on your typo)
