Default Q about ferns n orchids

So my question is about a Gongora that I have whose net pot is filled with spag and is now being co-inhabited by ferns (as you can see by the ). I personally love it and I think its great, but at the same time its growing VERY rapidly. Now for the Q part: At what point does this fern go from wanted guest to unwanted pest? Water flows through just fine right now, but I wonder if air flow will become restricted with too much "ferniness"? Has that point already been reached?? Does anyone have ferns like this growing in their pots and if so, how do you manage them? Thanks for any input!!

I think that orchids grow closely with and compete with ferns in their natural habitat, so the only problem I could forsee is the repotting. The tangle of roots will make it more difficult. I'd also possibly increase feeding, as you are now feeding two and not one.

Personally, though, I would just leave it, as it is very beautiful! And natural looking.

I think ferns and orchids look beautiful together, but as mentioned before just try to give the fern a "haircut" every now and then.
