That's it! I'm moving to Florida! Anyone have a spare bedroom??? I love snakes...they are soo cool...and just look at those flamingos! Love the great roots by the way...the frog seems to enjoy them too!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Becca--those are Ibis not Flamingos. We see them alot on our coast too. They are much shorter than Flamingos.

I thought they looked shorter! I have never seen both in person before...I guess I shouldn't just assume...but I just learned something new!

I always enjoy seeing critters in my yard. The frog in the photo has a habit of jumping on my office window during evenings when the lights are on and the bugs are out. He really makes a large "Thud" when he lands. I glanced outside the window late one afternoon and spotted him hanging off the window sill, observing me at the computer. He's my "Bud".
