Default Platanthera sparsifloria

I was looking through some old photos and found this photo from 2005. I took the photo in the Lake Tahoe area. The common name is Sparse-flowered bog orchid.

They look like they are just buds. If you go to Calphotos, they have a ginormous wildflower photo collection. I have used it to get some idea of what I find around here. Lemme see if I can make a link to the website...

Very cool, I'd agree that looks pretty sparse for a Platanthera. Thanks for sharing, I'd never seen one.
