Default Ghost seed pod

Made it to the Fakahatchee today and came across a unusual sighting. A ghost seed pod spreading its seeds. and a double flower ghost spike. Its pretty rare for 2 flowers to be on 1 spike. I also found a brand new baby ghost still with the single leaf. Should be seeing flowers in a month or so.

How very cool to see what is such a rare sight! Be sure to take some pictures of that double bloom when you go back to see it!

I don't imagine that getting to see the seed pod like that is all that common either. And great eyes to pick out the baby Ghost. You've certainly go the gift of ghost sight!

Excellent Dave! Thanks for sharing these wonderful findings with us.

Is this the same pod we saw a couple weeks ago? I sure hope some of those seeds find good spots to germinate!

Great eye Dave! I'm sure I would have missed that little guy!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Great shots, Dave. The seed pic is very cool.
