Dendrobium clavatum Male
Default Dendrobium clavatum

Dendrobium clavatum is found in Taiwan, China and southeast Asia. It is a large plant that grows in high trees.
The species likes cool weather and in our lowland, it seldom blooms.

Does anybody who grows this in a cool climate do so successfully?

I've often read this as being a cool grower and from experience and where the orchid is most common domestically it appears to do better as a warm grower.
