Default Large Wild Campylocentrum pachyrrhizum

all, went to the Strand today and found a very large C. pachyrrizum. Also found a Ghost orchid with 2 old spikes. To bad they were difficult to get to!

Dave you really have a knack for finding orchids out there! I can't get over the size of those roots in the first pic! They must be happy there in Florida... Gee I wonder why?

Sorry to resurrect this ancient thread, but does anybody have or know where to source Campylocentrum pachyrrhizum for sale? I purchased one from Countryside Orchids (long out of business) in 2003 and squirrels promptly destroyed the whole plant. Now I know to keep my miniature and delicate orchids protected from getting eaten.

I have seen this species in the wild and actually observed it to be locally plentiful in a certain part of the Fakahatchee. That said, I would really like to grow this species and have not seen it for sale since 2003? Does anybody on here grow this species?
