Does indeed look like a plant that could very easily be over looked.

Its so elegant. A well prepared photo as always Ron.
brachypoda --> arm footed, branch footed. Any ideas on why the name was chosen Ron?

I've looked, Tindo, and cannot find the reason for its name. Rather unusual name but there is probably some flower feature that warrants it.
