Thanks, too, Nikki and S. It's nice to be back in a routine again, especially one that includes OB.

Amazing photos and unique content as always, Ron!
Thanks for sharing these natural gems.

I did not know there were wild fritillaria in North America! I love the large fancy types for the garden, Imperialis.

That wild orchid in the fourth picture, I think I saw the same one while camping near Montana/Idaho border. It was slightly shaded woodland near a lake.
I did take a picture with my super old phone but I will have to dig up somewhere in my old discs. lol

I love the woodpecker. They need large area of forests and I only feel sad about what's happening to their habitat.

I love the woodpecker shot, amazing!!! I saw my first Pileated WP in southern Upstate NY just this past May. Got a fuzzy adult male flyby (could have been an ivory-billed for all I know, lol) and an adult female peaking out of the nest cavity.
All the orchids are amazing. I love your photos as you know.

I've seen them quite a few times before, Tindo, on both ends of the country, but this is the first time I was able to get a good photo. If you saw and Ivory-bill you'll be world-famous, at least in the in the ornithological community.
yup..yup, expecially if I saw one in NYS
