Sometimes known as Habenaria integra, this is a native of wet pinelands, roadsides, prairies, and fens from central Florida into New Jersey. You can read more about the trip to photograph these on my blog site:

That is really great! I would like to get more into the native orchids and there are several Platanthera that are native to Texas. Is this a plant you photographed en situ or is this one you grew at home?
