Thanks Ron for EXIF info - very helpful. More than anything, your post is inspiring me to grab my camera and go on a hike

I love wildflowers, Bud, and it is always a thrill to see something new or even some of the old beauties, but these are simply awe-inspiring when you see them growing in the dark forests.

Thanks Alot for the info. Unfortunately I only get a day off a week and that's spent doing the usual chores and watering a large part of my orchids..Although, I do take my holidays in one lump in december...So, I always end up going towards the equator where it's warmer..
But I used to love walking/hiking (still do) although haven't done it for years. I will definitely keep this in mind and look up where and when to go and see these in their habitat here in France and hopefully will be able to arrange before waiting for retirement!
Many, many thanks again Ron. Like JaneEyre you've definitely inspired me too!

Thanks for commenting, Nenella, and hope you get a chance to do some walking or hiking. Glad I can be an inspiration!
