Cranefly Orchids in my Backyard

So, I was checking out a blocked stream in my backyard, and I found these all over the place. Plenty of massive colonies of Tipularia discolor, some a meter wide.

Very cool! I run across these a lot in the woods around here, never seem to catch them in flower though.

If I am home when they flower, yes. I'm working 120 miles away, so I'd have to time the day off that month perfectly. I know they're a common, ubiquitous orchid, but I've never seen so many in one place before.
