I so love this one and those are great pics Ron.

I almost bought one of these in November, but it was between one of these and Cyp kentuckiense and the kentuckiense just won. I think I will have to get one of these next time I see that vendor at a show. He's always got great cyps and I've bought from him every time so far. (I'm always really nervous about them coming up in the spring though.)

It's so great to see wild pictures of them. One day I must get over my fear of flying and come see them out there.

I don't know much about them in cultivation, but they certainly are among the more beautiful of the Lady's Slipper, though not as showy as some - their beauty is more in their elegance. And, by the way, they can grow quite tall.
