Nice photo work...I always prefer some parts blurred with close ups as it feels more natural and gives the eye a chance to rest as it moves to the points of interest/focus throughout the picture.
O, and um, gorgeous bloom!

Oooh, gorgeous. I wouldn't have expected it to work on a white background but it really does. Great work!

Thank you all for the nice comments! Rosie, I am actually going to do an entire set of photos against a white background. Most of the time people shoot against black but I have an idea for a cool set that I think will turn out nice.
