Default Great day in the Strand!
Had a wonderful day. Here's what we saw.
1st is a Not yet ID ed Ladies tresser
2nd is my first Ghost flower of the year
3nd is second ghost flower
4th is Bletia purpurea
5th is unknown but cool looking
6th is Polystachya concreta
7th is E. tempensis plant and flowers
8th is E. tempensis flower
9th is some unknown red mushrooms
10th is a Barn Owl
We also found 5 other ghost with spikes, 1 with 3 on it.

Yes. The name is Cephalanthus occidentalis or Buttonbush: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cephalanthus_occidentalis

I would suggest S. laciniata for your Spiranthes. Your awesome photos make me want to head down to the Strand meself.
