Default Lady Slipper EXPLOSION!
I had the most amazing afternoon. I went on a nature walk in the park behind my house (less than 2 blocks away) and the entire forest was dotted with bright pink lady slippers.

I was in complete awe - they were everywhere - some in great big bunches where dozens would be growing together. I had no idea that there were paphs in the wild in this part of New England. It took every ounce of self control not to take one or ten of them home with me.

I am terrible with a camera - but I snapped a few fotos (below) so that I could share with the group. I hope you enjoy...
