Default First Ghost

This is the first Ghost Orchid I have seen blooming, it took many trips to find it but it was worth all the trouble and skin Seriously it was definately worth it.

i agree.what a beauty; and well worth the tramping in the swamps.
they are so much nicer in their own enviroment.

Hopefully when I go back this week I will see my secong ghost blooming. I will put up new pics and keep you posted.

Default first ghost in the jungle

Thats only one of the hundreds that are going to be shown on the OB. Way to go joe.......Hows the humidity around 1:00-4:00p.m.. just right for the orchids????

Chubidubi,hows weather out on the Island how are you orchids down under we need rain down here in the woods I think if the orchids can talk, they would ask for a drink of H2O....

Yeah I can understand the crazyness. I spend most of the time looking for it. Then I run into something else amazing like a clamshell orchid which is great too. Unfortunately you have to deal with the mosquitos, gators, bears and others....why can't they just leave me alone!!!!! LOL
