Just be careful with the chain saw.

Yes, I can see this thing ending up in a couple of pieces if I don’t lose my nerve

Chainsaw, axe, table saw- bring out the big guns! This will not be pretty

it’s been in there for a while and I know that center part of the basket is starting to break down pretty bad after poking around. Otherwise I would be totally fine with ignoring it for a few more years....

Another round of blooms for this last cold winter month.

Dendrobium pendulum(??). Smells like roses! I am in love with the color of this one but I haven’t seen this species with the two dark eyes in the center. Any ideas?

Little cutie! Gastrochilus retrocallus. I have been keeping this on a bright windowsill in my bathroom and it seems to be pretty happy. It is lightly fragrant, too

Dendrobium tetragonum var. giganteum. These are two different ones that came from SVO. Supposedly, the giganteum is a little more tolerant of heat and likes it’s winter lows to be a bit warmer than the standard variety. One of these will be mounted once they start putting out some new growth.

Wonky flower but OH that orange! Not sure if this is because of a culture problem or just because it’s still a baby, but hopefully this Cattleya hybrid will straighten out on its second blooming.

I believe someone on here referred to this as a “rotting meat” colored Catasetum, lol. I dig it.
