This my first and only Zigo... it seems to be a Zygopetalum maculatum but I will never know for sure.

This guy has been growing outside under temps between freezing and 45ºC (113 F). This is the first time I can see how it looks like (and smell, really powerful).

Last June 2016 it was like this...

and now it's like this....

Nevermind the multiple plant types in the same pot...it comes from growing outside and I let them stay, at least until repot after blooming.

Very nice. Mine is blooming too, for the third time this year. However, it must have gotten dry as the spike is low and has only three fliwers.

One of those weeds looks like Horsetail (Equistem). Be sure you get every bit of root when you weed it out.

Wow, it sure has come a long way since that first photo, it looks great! I love Zygo blooms, but every time I try one of these I inevitably lose it to rot.

This one is growing outside since 27-05-2017 (yes, I take notes of almost everything orchids related). It takes a huge amount of rain when it's cold.
During dry and hot weather (usually HR<20% and frequently high 30's ºC) it watered everyday, sometimes twice.
The best news is that the spots on the leaves were gone!
