Default Phal in bloom

Phal "Vivaldi"...6 blooms... Got it 5 years ago as a gift and it blooms like a clock at this time of the year.
It's potted in a too large pot but it seems it doesn't care as long as I water it every 3 to 3 weeks.

Very nice! I might need to get a pink Phal as they are magnificent.

I had orchids that bloomed like clockwork until I joined my Orchid Society. They changed their blooming schedules to avoid the annual show season, those little rascals. :|

This one has been easy to grow. I don't worry that much about it. As you can see by the photos bellow is has been growing nicely, it has what seems like a rhyzome...in reality that's a kind of a "trunk" (what's the mane for it?) created by the sucessive growths, and part of it is buried under the medium.
Very rewarding, indeed!

Nice blooms, and happy plant! I like the nice soft pinks like that, though I don't have a Phal like that any more.

Many of my older Phals tend to creep out of their pots as well as the stem slowly gets longer over the years. Last year I 'fixed' some of those when repotting by cutting off the completely dead base of the stem and then setting the plant deeper in the medium.

Beautiful phal! I have one just about exactly like that in bloom as well. Lots of branches off the main spike too, which means LOTS of blooms

Such a classic bloom. I think everyone should have a pretty pink phal like this in their collection
