Default Contrast for fun

These are so different in size, I thought the contrast was fun. The big guy is Cymbidium 'Pipeta Magenta,' the little one Tolumnia Jairak Flyer 'Fantastic.'

I'm always amazed that in one single plant family there are absolutely miniscule plants and then there are the giants at the other end of the spectrum. The Tolumnia isn't a micro minaiature, but it's completely dwarfed by the Cym!

(your counter top looks identical to mine. Ikea?)

That's an island but, yes, IKEA. I love the practicality of it.

Ours is also an island too. Love it a lot, though we sealed it to avoid water stains.

My Lepanthopsis astrophora looks as though it might bloom soon (it is sending out little wires). I think it would get lost next to your Cymbidium (and forget even trying to get a picture of it with an orchid of that size).

How big are they? They both look amazing.
I'm imagining a giant grammatophyllum compared to a tiny platystele... the size difference will be amazing...
