Graham is wonderful! I also have the same plant from him. I mounted mine and I get spikes twice a year. I have not noticed a scent, but I haven't checked for one either. I will have to be sure check, if I get more spikes in spring.

Graham brought 3 or 4 to the meeting. They had different parents listed on the tags. I got there a little late and this was the only one left. It was was in tight, low spike. I think it was only $15. The others had 2 spikes each, and were far more advanced, so you could see the total number of buds they had. My plant has about a many flowers on its 1 spike as the others had on their 2 spikes.

I was prompted to write this because I dropped the name tag a while ago and couldn't find it. I just found it. This is Aerangis luteoalba v rhodosticta 'Prolific' x self. I guess the name is appropriate.

I got one of these last year. I was also very curious about the conflicting information online regarding whether it is fragrant or not.

Everyone I've talked/written to that grows or has grown this species says they never noticed a scent.

Mine bloomed through most of January this year and the flowers are starting to fade now. I checked it many times at different times of day/night, and never detected any fragrance either.

Consider your choice as a good one to get such a fine clone.

Wow, nice! I used to have one and killed it by not watering it.

Near the end of its blooming I knocked it off the shelf and it came out of the pot. It went downhill slowly and steadily and died, without attempting any growth.
